Welcome to The Playground, the Australian Broadcasting
Corportion's site for children and their carers.

What is the Playground?

The Playground is a rich and happy environment for children to explore as well as being a detailed information point with easy access to everything you need to know about your favourite ABC Kids characters, TV programs and online games.

Enter The Playground World and meet Ruby, Spanna, Arty, Rolo, Zip, Kurl: an group of entertaining characters for kids to meet and befriend.

What age group is The Playground suitable for?

The Playground is designed to be accessible to young users. It’s intuitive navigation and interaction makes it super easy for a pre-school aged child to find their way around without the need of an adult. Parents and carers can have children exploring this site comfortable in the knowledge that it is a safe, friendly and easy to use environment in which children will have fun and learn.

What will I need to access The Playground World?

The Playground World has been specially designed to be simple to access and use. We have reduced all of the downloadable technology requirements to one single plug in, the Flash Player, which you may already have. With this free application, all of the activities, games and animations in The Playground, are yours to enjoy.
