Police are investigating the death of a woman killed in an accident south-east of Perth on the Albany Highway last night.
They believe the 40-year-old got out her car and walked onto the highway near the town of Tenterden.
She was hit by a truck and killed instantly.
Police say witnesses have given them conflicting reports about why the woman left her car.
